D&RGW K-27 Locomotives - Second Release
This is a surprise announcement from Blackstone. We have very little information at this time but Blackstone has assured us that complete details are forthcoming in a few days. Below is what we know right now.
Blackstone Announcement:
"Blackstone is VERY happy to announce that due to demand (and a little luck!) we will be producing a very limited 2nd run of the Blackstone Models K-27 in HOn3! Due to a small bit of excess manufacturing capacity at the factory, we have the opportunity to produce a short run of the most popular models (that sold out very quickly) as well as offer three new versions - one for each herald! We have a very short reservation time on these locomotives, so we MUST receive your reservations no later than February 1st, 2010!
Since it has been 3 years since our initial shipment of these locomotives, we have of course, seen some price increases, but we are pleased that we are seeing only a modest price increase of $10 on these models, coming in at a list price of $429.00. Due to the limited nature of this release, all units will be offered only as sound-equipped models.
Equally exciting, is that we appear to be able to expect a summer delivery on these engines.
